Events at a glance

Saturday 18th June - Chepstow
Darren Hawkins is arranging a trip to Chepstow on the 18th June. Fairly informal but a great way to get some dives in in a nice controlled environment.

The guys are meeting from about 9am onwards and would love it if you would care to join them. Diving from 8m to 80m (yes really!)

£15 for the day and the viz is usually pretty good. There is plenty to see and the underwater layout means that you will see most of it.

Sunday 26th June - Selsey Lifeboat Station
Darren is also arranging a trip to Selsey to Dive the Lifeboat Station

This is a really easy shore dive with plenty of critters to see and if you are lucky you will see the family of cuttle fish!

Its free to park, free to get in and only a short walk from the place where you will park. You can dive as many times as you like and its easy to dive for an hour or more regardless of how good or bad your air consumption is!

Thursday 7th July - Club Quiz Night
Now that Summer is well and truly here its time to finally get in the water and club night is a great place to find some inspiration and a buddy

And what better way to vet your buddy than to check out just how clever they are!

All money raised from the event will go to the RNLI and the winning team gets to hold the Golden Snorkel for the next year.

Any Weekend!
We want to get in a lot more local cheap diving so keep an eye out to see who is up to what.

We will be organising some days out to dive Swanage Pier, Selsey Lifeboat station, Chesil Cove, Chepstow, Vobster and Stoney Cove. We may even venture over to Kent and try out Buckland.

If you fancy organising a trip (which simply entails you telling some people that you are going) then please jump in!

Facebook
There are plenty of people diving regularly with open invites coming from all angles!

Check out the facebook page to see what's going on and when...

Wednesday Evenings - Wraysbury
Don't forget the house reef! There are Wednesday evening dives going on most weeks as well as weekend splashes for anyone who fancies it.

Adventures in Diving and Advanced Open Water Diver

Diving has so much to offer - wrecks, underwater photography, night, deep - the list goes on. Try out a variety of diving with PADI Adventures in Diving and gain your Advanced Open Water Diver.

About the Course

The PADI Adventures in Diving & Advanced Open Water programme is all about diving - doing the things that you like to do. It is an excellent way to experience the vast range of activities that diving can offer under the guidance of a PADI instructor.

Choose from a number of different Adventure Dives. Complete 3 adventure dives to qualify as a PADI Adventure Diver. If you complete 5 Adventure Dives, including a deep and navigation dive, you'll qualify for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

This course will increase your depth limit from 18m to 30m. You can count adventure dives towards the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty too.

It's Your Course

What you do depends on you. Take a look at the list of Adventure Dives available and you'll soon see that the choice is incredible. Fortunately, the hardest part of this programme is choosing which dives to do!

Most people elect to do the following 5 Adventure Dives to gain their Advanced Open Water Diver certificate in the UK.

(includes 5 Adventure Dives over 2 days)
  2. Individual Adventure Dives: From £60
