The Emergency First Response course teaches general
first aid and how you should respond in an
emergency. You don’t have to be a diver to take
this course. It is relevant to everyday
situations. |

About the Course |

The course is made up of 3 parts – Primary
Care (CPR), Emergency First Response
Secondary Care (first aid) and Automated
External Defibrillator (AED) training. These are
taught through a combination of knowledge
and skill development with realistic
scenario practice to make sure you have the
confidence in your ability to provide care
when emergency situations arise.
Primary Care teaches skills such as; scene
safety assessment, Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) and spinal injury
management. Emergency First Response focuses
on secondary assessment and first aid
covering injuries or illnesses that are not
immediately life threatening.
The course fee is all inclusive
This includes all required study materials, use
of all necessary equipment, certification fees. |
